Training

Digley Associates understands out sourcing your play area inspections can be expensive when you manage a large number of them. Ideally you require the knowledge and understanding in-house to perform the inspections yourselves.

Digley Associates offer a comprehensive training package to teach your staff all aspects of play ground inspections and allow them to obtain accreditation for the Routine Visual and Operational Inspections from the RPII. Digley Associates are accredited by RPII to deliver these training courses and examine candidates for accreditation.

Training Details

• Training is undertaken within the local area to the client and ideally within the clients own facilities, but other venues can be arranged if required.
• All training will be both theoretical and practical with the use of "Power Point" presentations and actual play site visits.
• Training is undertaken by the two principals within Digley Associates Limited and our own NEBOSH and Grad IOSH accredited Health & Safety Consultant if required.

Training Courses

Routine Inspection Training - this course would be aimed at those people whose job entails undertaking a play area visit on a regular daily or weekly basis.

Operational Inspection Training - this course will be aimed at the Managers of the Play Facilities or play area providers who may have staff working for them undertaking inspections and maintenance work.

Annual Inspection Training - while a limited number of Authorities have a Qualified Annual inspector working for them many prefer to use the resources of an independent inspection organisation to undertake this level of inspections. This training course is aimed at those independent people who have an in depth knowledge of Children's Play and EN1176 but require to progress further to undertake Annual Inspections.

Maintenance & Installation Training - this course is suited those operatives that are involved in the Management of Play Facilities as well as those who undertake installation and maintenance work of play area equipment.

Specialist Training - this can be tailored to your requirement and can include Roller Sports, Multi Use Games Areas and other specialist training. Please contact us for further information.
